Dividend Growth Stocks

Money in the Trough – August 2016 Buys

This month’s purchases have been solid, long-term dividend growth stocks that we all know, trust and love.  I’m once again, having a rough time finding values in the stocks I want to own (or want to own more of at these prices).  So, here is the best of what I could find this month.

My Dividend Growth Stock Purchased – August 2016

August 2016 Dividend Growth Stock Purchases

I will keep this page updated with any additional dividend growth stock purchases made this month.

My dividend portfolio has been updated with these buys.

Have you found any super deals in dividend growth stocks that I’ve missed?

I'm a dividend growth investor who is aiming to retire early in 4 years at the age of 45. My goal is to live off the income my dividend portfolio and rental property produce exclusively and leave the corporate rat race. I hope you will join me in this journey!

Selling calls has also been a goal of mine. It takes sometime to get to 100 shares of these $50+ stocks.

  1. Solid buys Blake. These are two of my favorite stocks and were among my very first purchases as a dividend growth investor.

KO has treated me very well and I’m sure it will do the same for you. I’m still waiting for TROW to make me look smart though. Congrats on getting it at such a good price.

On a side note – why the $9 commission on KO? Did you not use IB for this purchase?

    Take care,

    Ken

      Hi Ken,

Thanks! Yep, the KO buy was made in the Schwab account. I’m running low on funds in the IB account after my home improvement purchases and surprise expenses last month.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

      Hi Doug,

      The more the merrier!

Thank you for stopping in and saying hi!

  2. Some solid buys indeed. It’s always nice to see the buying continue among our fellow dividend bloggers even as the market and many individual stocks remain at all time highs.
