Money in the Trough – April Dividend Stock Purchases – 2020

April has been a doozy of month for me and my path towards financial independence.  “Big things are afoot at the Circle K” for me right now.  With that, I’m a little short on cash at the moment. I am still making strides to keep investing as much as possible – even while I have a lot of cash tied-up in real estate.

Below are the dividend stocks I’ve purchased so far this April.  I keep a running log of every dividend stock I buy which can be viewed in the dividend growth stock purchases page.

So far, I’ve put a little more than $1,500 to work with an average yield of 7.47%.  I’ve added almost $115 of yearly forward dividend income this month!  $1,500 bucks goes pretty far with a 7% average yield!

The $GPC, $IRM, $BEN and $TOT purchases were made via DRIP.

New Buys - April 2020

My dividend portfolio has been updated with these buys.

All additional purchases made this April will be posted on this page.  I try to invest $2,500 – $4,000 every month (probably won’t happen this month).  However last month, I invested a little over $11,750!

I'm a dividend growth investor who is aiming to retire early in 4 years at the age of 45. My goal is to live off the income my dividend portfolio and rental property produce exclusively and leave the corporate rat race. I hope you will join me in this journey!

Nice job! Definitely would agree that $1,500 goes along way at that yield. Great job putting $1,500 to work, that’s a solid amount of capital!
