Dividend Growth Stocks

Money in the Trough – March Dividend Stock Purchases – 2018

Alright, I know this is a late.  I’ve once again been distracted by not only family health stuff, but work travel.  You know how it is, work always gets in the way of the fun stuff.

Anyway, here are my March dividend stock purchases for your perusing.

This month I added some old standards (and have recently gotten my butt handed to me) and some new international companies.  My dividend portfolio is much too USA centric and I really need to (and will) add some more foreign holdings.

This was another gigantic investment month.  I have practically redeployed all the cash from my 401k that I was given the keys to last year.  It’s been a very interesting ride.

If I had to rate my performance, I would only be able to give a satisfactory rating.  While my goal is investing in sound, dividend growth stocks; I am underperforming the S&P500.  I hate underperforming.  On the other hand, I am soundly ahead of the S&P500 when it comes to yield – which I value much more highly than unrealized gains/losses.

New Buys - March 2018

My dividend portfolio has been updated with these buys.

I'm a dividend growth investor who is aiming to retire early in 4 years at the age of 45. My goal is to live off the income my dividend portfolio and rental property produce exclusively and leave the corporate rat race. I hope you will join me in this journey!

Yeah, it was a big month! So was February. Should be the last of these though. I’ve blown through a lot of dry powered!
