This month I received $2,599.54 in dividend income! On average, I was paid $47.26 from 55 different companies! This month’s dividend income is a CRAZY 32.67% increase over August 2021. That’s $640.13 more dividend income than last August.

August’s dividend increase adds $290.16 in annual dividend income! On top of that, August’s dividend increases are the equivalent of investing an extra $8,290.29 of new money at 3.5% yield (thanks LOW)! BOOM!

Cash
Cash declined this month as I’ve been putting more money in the market. I’ll keep that up as much as possible.
Real Estate
In August, our electricity bill stayed exactly the same at $218 (weird) for the month and our gas bill remained about the same at $36. That totals to $254 again. August wasn’t crazy hot, not sure where the electricity went this month.
Our new rent rate kicked in and we are still way under market. The good news is rent came in on time, and no service calls.
Wrap-up
August was a surprising month of some huge dividend income and dividend growth. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Hopefully, next month will be even better (I already know it will)! 🙂
I will continue to invest every month, and will work to put extra money to work if the market drops substantially.
