Dividend Growth Stocks

Money in the Trough – August Dividend Stock Purchases – 2022

Well, this August came and went quickly!  So, here are my dividend stock purchases I’ve made so far this August.

I keep a running log of every dividend stock I purchase which can be viewed in the dividend growth stock purchases section.

So far, I’ve put a little over $5,600 to work with an average yield of 3.3%.  I’ve added a little over $190 of yearly forward dividend income this month!

New Buys - August 2022

My dividend portfolio has been updated with these buys.

All additional purchases made this August will be posted on this page.  I aim to invest $2,500 – $4,000 every month.  However, in July I invested just a little under $6,500!

I'm a dividend growth investor who is aiming to retire early in 4 years at the age of 45. My goal is to live off the income my dividend portfolio and rental property produce exclusively and leave the corporate rat race. I hope you will join me in this journey!

  1. Awesome stuff DP! Lots of great companies in there and love seeing you being able to invest that much cash during August. August was a slow month for capital deployment for us but we still managed to do pretty well even though it was a slower month. Hard to believe that August is just about over already.

Thanks JC! I know, the days flew by this month! Hopefully, we’ll continue putting as much money as possible to work if we see a larger decline. I know we both love sales!
