September Dividend Income and Net Worth Report – 2022

September was a heck of a month for dividend income and a new record high was reached!  Dividend growth is also continuing to preform on schedule.  On the other hand, net worth dipped significantly with the market.

September Dividend Income

This month I received $4,853.56 in dividend income!  On average, I was paid $45.79 from 106 different companies!  This month’s dividend income is a new record high, 33.51% increase over September 2021.  That’s $1,218.19 more dividend income than last September!!  That’s HUGE!

Dividend Income - September 2022

Here is a chart of my passive dividend income progress over the last 5 years.

The dividend portfolio has been updated.

Here are the dividend stock purchases I’ve made between September 2021 and 2022 that helped fuel this month’s dividend income growth.

September’s dividend income covers all my living expenses for the month.

September Dividend Growth (Dividend Increases)

Below are the realized dividend increases I received this September.  Dividend growth is an extremely important metric and one of my favorite to report!

This September I received 16 dividend increasesSix of the  dividend increases were over 10%!

Dividend Increases - September 2022

September’s dividend increase adds $242.12 in annual dividend income! On top of that, September’s dividend increases are the equivalent of investing an extra $6,917.71 of new money at 3.5% yield (thanks $F)!

Net Worth

Net worth continued its fall!

Let’s do the numbers…

Cash

Cash declined this month as I have put all the money I can get my hands on and pulled all of the coins from under the seat cushions on the couch into the market.  I have invested a lot over the last couple of months.

Real Estate

In September, our electricity bill dropped significantly to $143 for the month and our gas bill remained about the same at $36.  That totals to $179 again.  September wasn’t hot or cold, so the big users of electricity in the house weren’t all that active!

We are loving the new rate on the rental.  All is well, no repairs and rent was paid on time!

Wrap-up

September is always great month for dividends and this year, September exceeded expectations!  Dividend income hit a new high and dividend growth was booming!  I could not be more pleased with the results.

I will continue to put as much as I can into the markets during times of turmoil.  I suspect, there will be plenty of more opportunities coming up.  I have a hit list of stocks to buy, if/when times get tough.  I hope you do too!

I'm a dividend growth investor who is aiming to retire early in 4 years at the age of 45. My goal is to live off the income my dividend portfolio and rental property produce exclusively and leave the corporate rat race. I hope you will join me in this journey!
