I recently got back from a nice vacation, which involved a pretty significant road trip. Since me and my friends have eaten McDonalds on every road trip we have ever taken, we took the opportunity to once again stop for some delicious egg mcmuffins.
While there, I decided I wanted to revisit one of my core holdings, MCD, along with some top competitors in the industry. So for the next group of dividend stock analysis, I’m going to be looking at some of the big names in food service. Although three of these companies are considered “fast food” and one is more full-service, they all sell food for money, so I’m going to look at them together.
First up will be McDonalds, one of my favorite stocks.
Then we’ll take a look at a top competitor, Yum! Brands
Next will be Wendy’s Arby’s Group, another fast food servicer
Lastly, I’m going to look at Darden Restaurant Group, which has a portfolio of very strong brands. This company operates the Red Lobsters, Olive Gardens, and many other well known restaurant concepts. I’m pretty psyched to check this one out.
That’s it for now. Stay tuned to see detailed analysis of all these companies!
